As part of the special programming to mark the opening of the “Arcade Origins”, the next Wednesday 22 April at 17:00 h., OXO Museum Madrid will host an open-access colloquium in the entrance atrium, with a Computer Space presiding over the stage.
The talk will feature three very special guests linked to the history and evolution of video games and arcades in Spain:
Javier Valero, founder of Gaelco, one of the key figures in the development of arcade machines and their hardware in Spain, responsible for such iconic titles as World Rally Championship o Radikal Bikers. In addition, we will take this opportunity to pay tribute to one of the great figures of arcade games in Spain, incorporating Javier Valero to the Hall of Fame from OXO Video Game Museum.
Eduardo Álvarez, co-founder of Arcade Planet.
Raúl Rubio, founder of Tequila Works and director of video games such as Deadlight, RiME o The Invisible Hours.
The meeting will be moderated by Santiago Bustamante, cultural director of OXO Video Game Museum.
At the end of the talk, attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Computer Space fully switched on and operational.
