Following a spectacular first edition that attracted thousands of spectators and established devINITIVE SHOWCASE as one of the leading events for the Spanish-language independent video game scene, we’re back in 2026 with an even bigger event.
Interest in taking part in the event has exceeded all expectations. More than 250 trailers from studios and independent developers from around the world have been submitted for this latest edition, making the selection process the most rigorous to date.
For weeks, we have been reviewing every proposal to ensure we can deliver an event that lives up to the incredible quality of today’s indie scene. The result will be a showcase lasting almost two hours, packed with exclusive announcements, new gameplay footage, release dates, demos, surprises and some of the most promising independent video games due to be released in the coming months.
The first edition of devINITIVE SHOWCASE already demonstrated the huge interest that exists in discovering new projects. In 2025, the event received over 285 submissions from developers in Spain and Latin America, selected 80 video games for a 1-hour-and-45-minute live stream, and managed to exceed 825,000 unique impressions on Steam, establishing itself as a leading showcase for independent studios.
Organised by DJPanchi and LOVELYINDIES, content creators specialising in indie video games, devINITIVE SHOWCASE has a very clear mission: to provide real visibility for independent developers and connect their projects with an audience comprising gamers, the press, content creators and industry professionals.
